I am a super-fan of AppleCheeks diapers.   I love the fit, the style, the frilly leg gussets {which can also be extremely manly *wink*} and the quality of the diapers.  I’ve done several reviews for AppleCheeks {which you can find here, here and here} and I just can’t say enough good for the company.  I also love Ilana, who is the co-owner of AppleCheeks.  I was able to catch a few minutes of her time for an interview, which you can find here.  She is a great lady, totally dedicated to what she loves – her girls, her company and her customers.

AppleCheeks offers a variety of products in addition to their infamous envelope diapering system.  Since I’ve already told you all about their fab diapering system in the three posts I linked above, I thought I would introduce you to a few of the smaller key players in their shop!

One of the innovative products that work in conjunction with the AppleCheeks envelope system is their waist extenders.  These nifty little pieces of fabric allow for an extra two inches of waist fit on the diaper.  So if you are not quite ready for the size 2 diapers with your little chunker, or you need just a few more weeks in the larger size with your nearly-potty trained toddler, these waist extenders are perfect for you!  They come in coordinating colors for the eight permanent color selections through AppleCheeks.  You can purchase these items for about $8.00.

We recently became converts in using disposable liners.  We don’t use them full-time, just if Amelia has a diaper rash.  We went through a pretty serious bout of a rash when she first tried pineapple {we no longer serve that…. Just sayin’} and needed a rash ointment that was stronger than our cloth diaper friendly brand.  Luckily, I had some of the new AppleCheeks Disposable Liners and we were able to continue using our fluff even with a diaper rash cream.  These are also really great to use so you don’t have really poopy diapers to clean – just lay the liner down in the diaper and flush the whole mess {liner included} after the “deed is done.”  If there was no poopy, simply rinse the liner and hang to dry…. Use it again!  You can purchase these handy liners for around $8.00.

The last product I want to feature is the AppleCheeks Nursing Pads.  These pads are made from the same bamboo/rayon as the AppleCheeks inserts {which are super absorbent and buttery soft!}.  They are unique in that there are three layers of absorbency on the bottom and two layers on top.  This creates a barrier where you need it, while eliminating the bulk of other reusable nursing pads on the market.  While I have not tried these {find out more about that here} I can imagine they are absolutely fab!  You can purchase these washable nursing pads for about $10.00 for four.
