a few weeks ago, we had a significant amount of snow {ok, significant in my book is over an inch.... don't hate} and it stuck around for about a week before melting away. i thought maybe our snow days had passed, i had hoped our snow days had passed, because to be honest - i am not a fan of any type of extreme weather. summer is too hot and winter is too cold, especially when there is frozen precipitation involved.
when i left our apartment this morning to head to work, the flakes had just started falling, but weren't quite sticking at 33 degrees. by the time i arrived at work {typically an 18 minute drive}, there was about an inch on the ground and the temperature had dropped over five degrees!! now, two hours after leaving home this morning, there is over three inches of fluff on the ground! it is pretty, i'll admit. but it's cold and wet, and as you can see.... i chose the wrong type of footwear this morning.
brrrr! too cold for me! do you have snow where you are? i'm dreaming of sunny places.....

We have a ton of snow & another storm is on the way! I can't wait for summer!
