upcoming projects and an organizational collage....

i can't believe it's christmas eve already!! this month, this year, has seriously flown by in a whirlwind of events.  with the passing of this holiday, my fabulous wreath that i stare at ever time i walk through the door is about to be packed up with the rest of our holiday decorations.  goodbye, lovely wreath.... i look forward to you visiting again next christmas!

it's time to get down and dirty with a new wreath for the door, but i'm not quite ready to give up the fall/winter decor.  there's still many cold months ahead {sigh}, so i've gathered all my materials for a nutty new wreath.... literally!

today we went around town picking up a few items.... no christmas gifts, mind you!  we got a new storage box for christmas decorations, a wreath storage container, some cleaning supplies, a few groceries {caleb can't live without his chips ahoy! cookies} and some fabric!!!! i purchased supplies i would need for my first two "bend-the-rules" projects!!

the last thing we purchased today was a new storage station for crafting!  at first i wasn't sure about it, because it sits in the middle of the wall in our dining room {due to lack of space in our 2 bedroom apartment!}, but now i'm really pleased with the outcome and it's a great solution to our pre-toddler pulling out fabric and poly-fil everytime we turn our backs!!

so there you have it! we are organized in our current state.... i'm sure with my "bend-the-rules" project impending, we will have to rearrange, or dare i say it? purchase a second cabinet for all of my creations!
