browsing....

it's become a weekend tradition for us to go in to town and just "browse" stores..... we've become extreme window shoppers.  i really look forward to this every weekend, and if caleb and i have extra days off during the week, they are either spent crafting or browsing.  sometimes both.  *wink*

tonight we headed to mail out a special package to my parents {that's right - i didn't tell you, you'll be surprised when you get it!!} and to pick up a few crafty items i needed from michael's.  as we headed home for caleb to fire up the grill for some wings {read: i didn't do good on calories today!}, we passed pier 1 imports and i told him that i really wanted to browse pier 1 and bed bath and beyond soon, but not in the same day because i would get overwhelmed!

after dinner, while we sat in our chairs in a food coma, watching amelia pinch each tiny kernel of corn on her tray and place it oh.so.slowly in her mouth, caleb said non-chalantly that we could browse pier 1 imports tomorrow!  {woah run on sentence....}  i'm so excited!!!! we need new candles, so i'm hoping to maybe con politely ask my darling, sweet, handsome husband for one or two for the living room.
