holidays with the corps.... the art of shaving review

I was recently given the opportunity to review a product specifically for Caleb. I feel that he often gets pushed to the back burner when it comes to blogging – everyone loves super cute baby stories and pictures and DIAPER GIVEAWAYS!! I was really excited to work with The Art of Shaving for a quality product that Caleb can use everyday.

If you didn’t already know, it’s a “rule” that military men be clean shaven, so that means every day for my man. That can really become harsh on sensitive facial skin, but The Art of Shaving has come up with some really great, masculine facial products to help care for pre- and post- shaven skin! They have come up with what they call “The 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave”. Here is what their website says about this:

“The 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave® guarantee optimal shaving results while relieving and preventing ingrown hairs, razor burn, tough beards, and sensitive skin.”

The Art of Shaving carries products ranging from scented and unscented skin care to high-end razors to badger shaving brushes for applying shaving cream barber shop style! I was sent the Carry On Kit in Sandlewood scent to have Caleb review. This kit is cool, because it comes with your shaving basics (pre-shave oil, shaving cream and badger brush, and after-shave balm) in a convenient zip-close carrying case. In addition to being so convenient, the entire kit meets TSA carry-on requirements when traveling by plane, down to the zip-top bag!

You can visit The Art of Shaving website to find shaving tips and expert advice, or search for a barber spa near you, where your man can get the traditional barber shop shave coupled with aromatherapy services. Prices for the Barber Spa range from a free consultation to a $55 Royal Shave! What an awesome gift it would be make to slip a gift certificate into your special man’s stocking!

You can purchase the Carry On Kit (retail value $50), and many other fine products from The Art of Shaving’s website, or you can use their store locator to find a store near you!

while i was sent this shaving kit for free to review, i was not paid to give a glowing review. my opinions are based on my experience and are 100% honest. to view my full disclosure policy, please click here.
