yesterday....

yesterday i was somewhat sickly, somewhat tired, and had a complete lack of internet.  and by complete lack - i mean i could check email on my phone sparingly {battery death!} and couldn't access blogger :(  it was a sad, sad day indeed.  i felt..... incomplete.  that may be a bit ridiculous, but alas, i'm honest!  you other blogging ladies out there totally know what i'm talking about! *wink*

so a few quick points....

• there will probably be several posts today, as i play catch up - yayyyyy!
• the Marine Parents Reader Survey?  when i saw how many people had actually taken the time to fill it out.... i very literally teared up.  maybe i'm a bit weepy lately, but i was thrilled to see the feedback!  what a fabulous success.  i plan on following each of your blogs and reading up on you to help us feel more of a community around here!!  i also now have some great ideas for future blogging series and events! you all are the bestofthebestofthebest - seriously, i love you.  and if you missed the survey or didn't have time before, check it out! it's so fast and quick.... i'd love to hear from you!!
• the Military Monday Blog Hop? i have NOT forgotten you folks!!! i am following back today - so be on the look out for some comments.  talk about a super successful week for the hop! we easily doubled our normal amount of participants - next week there will be another spotlight blog!  it may be Y-O-U!

i'll be back shortly for more blogging - just gotta tidy up.  funny how crazy the house gets when you are under the weather? although, i must hand it to Caleb.... he has been an enormous help to me by cleaning dishes the last two nights.  i love that man.
