yesterday, we got to hang out with our friends, marah and scott and their adorable son, kolt (who loves to terrorize amelia....) we went over to their house for dinner - carne asada!! it was so good, and we had so much fun hanging out with them. over the past several months, marah and i have become great friends, and i appreciate her friendship so much! her hubby, scott, is deploying to afghanistan on saturday and i hate to see him go, likewise, i hate to see marah broken-hearted over his leaving. i hope you will all keep their family in your prayers and thoughts! it takes a strong man to serve his country, but an even stronger woman to stay behind and keep the homefires burning!
while we were waiting for dinner to cook up, caleb taught amelia the importance of a car and the power it can have. she loved riding around and playing with daddy!!
April....I loved reading your post! And the fact about Kolt terrorizing Amelia! This is only the beginning of a beautiful friendship between those two!
