ok, so i know alot of people feel that it really isn't worth the effort to clip coupons if you are only saving 35cents on a product. that's why i think it is so important to find stores that double, if not triple coupons! i drive an hour away to go grocery shopping so that my coupons will double, stretching my buck even further! just buying a few items that we normally use with doubled coupons pays for the gas money.
so, if you are new to couponing, this is going to be a great deal for you! all next week, starting on the 25th, kmart is doubling ALL manufacturer's coupons, up to and including 99cents. this can make for some really awesome deals! here are the rules:
- you must present your "shop your way" rewards card at the time of purchase and coupon redemption. have this card swiped FIRST so your coupons are sure to double. (you can pick up one of these cards at the customer service desk so you have it immediately!)
- you can only use five coupons per customer, per day (hey, get your husband a card!)
- only the first five coupons will be doubled (after that they are scanned in at face value)
- kmart store coupons and pharmacy coupons are not included
to find out if your local kmart is participating, check in here. you can also call, but i have found that most of the employees are clueless about what specials are being ran during a particular week. they usually don't know it's "super doubles" until the coupons start ringing up as such... and even then, some cashiers don't even notice that and they wonder how i walk out of the store with five boxes of tampons for 69cents.....
